Random picture of my desk during last assignment. Ahah I'm too obsessed with the typeface Century Gothic. The labels for my CD stack, and a packaging design I did. I really don't notice because I sit there all the time, but the truth is in the photograph.. *stack of trial boxes, Meiji chocolate wrapper under a Himitsu no Arashi magnet, my business card, Yamataro flyer, my Japanese workbook, jar of water I keep forever teetering dangerly close to everything electronic, various test prints, and what I'm actually photographing is those cube things.

What have I been up to
lately, on Friday went to Finders Keepers markets at CarriageWorks!!
(Home of MasterChef) Which is like a wanky design/crafts fair. Full of
people trying to sell you owl necklaces and babushka dolls. I just
realised I have a strong aversion to owls because they are the trend
item at the moment, and the way people recklessly plaster it all over
their design makes me seriously ill. Was pretty much a rowdy mosh pit, except people were swilling around dangerous glasses of sangria and white wine.
Why do I go to these things, hmm mainly to pick up business cards. xD Naw I bought some vintage Japanese postcards and a rose brooch. I don't really wear brooches, tend to lose them, but all my earrings have been disappearing lately ;_;
First I had Pho at that new Pho place next to that Pho place on George St. You'll know what I mean! Its bright orange, the floors, the chairs, the walls, the bowls, the chopsticks. Sherbet orange. Except the ceiling is purple for some reason.
Was quite a random night, spent an hour talking and eating sushi with a friend's friend on the floor of an abandoned back lot, listening to the trains go by. Then around 10pm met up with the people I was sposed to be meeting with, to have dinner, more Japanese, at Hikaru, Newtown. Really pretty, relaxed courtyard style, with cheap tasty food.
Was sposed to be going out to eat Chinese, with non-Chinese friends lol/ but got cancelled. I rarely want to eat Chinese out.. たいてい家で中国の食べ物を食べます。
